Cactus en ligne is an urban succulent plant nursery that started in 2016. Their succulents grow in the heart of Montreal!
Their story:
Rodolphe et Victor Bruneault, deux frères passionnés d’agriculture urbaine, a fondé leur premier compagnie Succurbaine après avoir constaté qu’il n’existait que très peu d’offre de plantes ornementales ayant poussé localement. Ils ont décidé de remédier à cela en produisant des succulentes à Montréal et en privilégiant les circuits de distribution courts.
They purchased Cactus online after joining Centrale agricole, a cooperative in the town of Saint Laurent.
" Urban agriculture has always existed, especially with allotments. Today, it is in a real renaissance. There is a very strong need to reconnect with nature in the city. City dwellers want to get back to living off the land. "
