Their story:

Urban Seedling was created in 2012 to make the cultivation of food accessible in the city by developing a backyard-to-table concept. In schools as well as in corporate settings, Urban Seedling plants vegetable gardens and edible arrangements. The company also has a garden center dedicated to organic urban vegetable cultivation and edible landscaping. In order to contribute to a more sustainable urban future, Urban Seedlings is dedicated to improving our urban environment and our environment by increasing urban biodiversity, establishing places for them.

The decrease in the number of pollinators such as butterflies, natural bees, birds and other species has had a direct impact on agricultural production. The addition of various native plants as well as the practice and promotion of organic urban agriculture can play an important role in maintaining the ecological balance of pollinators in the food production system.

The balance and harmony created by biodiversity enables fertile soils, helps control insect pests and weeds without the use of chemicals, and helps conserve water.

Urban Sowing applies exclusively permaculture principles in order to grow and maintain our organic vegetable gardens.
