The Multi-CAUS community space becomes Ciné-Quartier's new film screening location this month. Located at 6049 boul LaSalle in Verdun, the space will be known as Ciné-Verdun. To get the project underway, Ciné-Quartier will present one film per week on Friday evenings, Saturday mornings and Sunday afternoons this fall. Six feature films, including an animated film for children, will be presented in 20 screenings over six weeks, all offered on a pay-what-you-can basis. Ciné-Quartier counts on community contribution for project longevity and program development. Donations will allow them to add more time slots or to show several films per week. They need the help of the public to finance rent, film copyright and labour, Several options exist if you want to support the project: you can donate in exchange for a tax receipt, purchase a prepaid card to view all six films or contribute to the project via a solidarity ticket. To help them reach their fundraising goal of $3,000 and support Ciné-Verdun click here. Enjoy the films! |
