L’initiative en Aquaponie de Verdun est fier d’annoncer un cours de l’initiation à l’aquaponie pratique le samedi 27 avril du 10h à 12h dans la salle communautaire de Multi-CAUS, 6049 boul. Lasalle, Verdun H4H 1M8. Le prix est 25$.

This practical aquaponics training session is aimed at people who are interested in aquaponics and want to understand how it works.

You might be exploring the idea of installing a system at home. Or you just want a general idea of what is involved in designing, installing and operating an alternative food production system.

The training session includes:

• Introduction aux différentes techniques d’aquaponie;
• An explanation of the nitrogen cycle;
• The main components of the system and their characteristics;
• Fish to breed and plants to cultivate;
• Design of a small/medium sized system;
• Daily maintenance tasks;
• Parameters to monitor; and
• Les enjeux, défis et opportunités de l’aquaponie.
