Collective kitchen for emergency meals

Volunteer in our collective kitchens to make emergency meals.

Objective: reduce food waste and feed the population of Verdun with 100 to 300 ready-to-eat meals. All by using surplus food from the food bank.

Tasks

• Wash and sanitize surfaces

• Help cook

• Help package food

• Help take inventory

• Help to promote the project

Note: We will provide food as a thank you, so please bring your own containers.

If you are able, you can bring the items listed below:

• cap/bandana/hair cover 
• apron 
• donations of dry goods for our kitchen inventory 

A few rules of the kitchen: 

• no false nails 
• don't come if you are sick, have the flu or have a cold.
• wear clean clothes
